Launched the Youth Leadership Development Foundation Girls World Communication Centre on last Tuesday within the activities of Camera as Voice Program that offers the voice of youth documentary films that dealt with a range of issues relating to gender and reproductive rights.
The inauguration ceremony which was attended by group of interested gender and documentaries, activists in the civic society and a number of trainees’ families. during the ceremony eight short documentary films were showed in the presence of a judge Committee in the field of gender and the media consisted of Dr. Raufa Hassan, Dr. Buthaina Al-Ttal, Ms. Safa Rawia,Ms.Rasha Al-Jundi and Mr. Ayman Mufadhal, at the end of the concert Roayat Baseer achieved the first place, Bedoon thekr Asma\'a placed in the second place and Thalath Talakat got the third place.
these eight films are one of the output of Camera as Voice, which was implemented with the support of the United Nations Fund for Population. 53 youth were trained on gender and reproductive rights and the basics of documentary filmmaking. The program lasts for six months to give young people a moderate voice to talk about gender and reproductive rights through documentaries.
