What idea did the young woman leave altruism for her graduation ceremony?

That merely coming up with a "plan" is not enough to be a different act, and that the plan is nothing but the cornerstone on which the ambitious "better world" project will be based, and his mere realization of the need to redouble efforts and absorb everyone in the search for solutions is a sufficient input to carry out that act .
In 2015, the "Sustainable Development Goals" or the so-called "2030 Plan" appeared in public, and from the outset it was clear that the search for innovative solutions in young minds was a serious direction for this plan. Despite the difficult challenges, the indicators were promising, as the United Nations agencies designed various programs aimed at involving youth in addressing the challenges.

At the level of the Arab world, the Young Leaders Program launched by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) constituted a lever for the voice of youth ideas, and in partnership with local civil society organizations, it approached local communities and provided an opportunity for their youth to think about their problems and try to contribute to providing solutions to them, or at least ideas for solutions.
The seventh edition of the Young Leaders Program was launched in September 2021, under the title (Making Change from the Inside Out), and because the program is looking for someone who has an innovative solution to address any of the social challenges, and encourages those who want to design and implement projects that help their local community, directed in partnership with Tanmia Young leaders Call for Yemeni young men and women to apply within two tracks (community builders) and (entrepreneurship).

This time, the program focused on the economic and social well-being of change-makers and social entrepreneurs of young men/women, and how addressing their mental health can be part of finding solutions to the challenges of their communities.
Although Yemen has been witnessing for years one of the worst crises around the world, affecting all aspects of life, including the services sector such as electricity and the Internet, and the program is providing its training virtually for the second year in a row in response to the conditions imposed by the outbreak of the Corona epidemic (Covid-19). However, more than 200 young men and women from nine Yemeni governorates (Aden, Shabwa, Hadramout, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea, Al-Mahrah, Taiz, and Socotra) had the opportunity to participate.

The high awareness and serious commitment shown by Yemeni men and women during the program reflected their true desire to address the most difficult challenges of our time and contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable development. Year after year, different details formed unique stories that made faith in young men and women increase, and increased betting on their ability to design and implement innovative, impactful, and sustainable development solutions. Therefore, efforts to empower and support them have also increased.
