Youth leaders starts the third phase of the Sustainable Livelihood and Employment Opportunities Project

Yesterday, Saturday 11/2/2023, the Youth Leadership Development Foundation, in partnership with the United Nations Women and the Women, Peace and Humanitarian Affairs Fund and in coordination with the Executive Unit for Camp Management in Hadramout Governorate, launched the third vehicle of the Sustainable Livelihood and Employment Opportunities (SOLVE) project, which aims to train women and girls From the displaced community, they acquired a number of income-generating skills and crafts, such as sewing, making incense and pastries

This stage targets 75 women and girls who were distributed equally over the three fields of training. After the end of the training, professional coaches will be provided to the trainees to help them start their own projects and be self-reliant in terms of promoting recovery in the displaced communities

It is worth noting that the project targeted 195 displaced women and girls in Hadramout governorate in three different tracks
