Amanat Al Asimah - Sana’a.
The activities of Bawwabtuk “Your Gateway” Project have concluded in Sana’a (Amanat Al Asimah), implemented by the Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF), with funding from the International Civil Society Action Network (ICAN), and in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour. The project aims to support and empower women entrepreneurs and strengthen their entrepreneurship capacities through a series of training sessions and practical activities that contribute to developing participants’ skills and businesses.
The project included a training programme targeting 20 women entrepreneurs, focusing on equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop their businesses, improve their ability to present their products, and reach customers and wider markets more effectively.
The training phase culminated in an exhibition showcasing the participants’ products and businesses, with 20 women entrepreneurs presenting 20 projects. The exhibition provided participants with an opportunity to showcase their products, introduce their businesses, and engage directly with visitors in a space that reflected the effort, ambition, and dedication they demonstrated throughout the training programme.
The exhibition concluded in the presence of Dr. Entilaq Al-Mutawakel, Chairwoman of the Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF), alongside Project Manager Ms. Asmaa Al-Qubati and a number of the Foundation’s staff members. The event featured a showcase of the women entrepreneurs’ businesses and products, celebrating their achievements throughout the project. Dr. Entilaq Al-Mutawakel also presented certificates of completion to the participants, recognizing their commitment and active participation throughout the different stages of the project.
The exhibition served as a practical step in connecting training with application, providing women entrepreneurs with a platform to introduce their businesses and products and strengthen their presence within their communities and the market.
Bawwabtuk “Your Gateway” Project highlights the importance of investing in women’s capacities and supporting their economic initiatives, contributing to greater opportunities and more sustainable businesses.
Although the exhibition has concluded, the Youth Leadership Development Foundation will continue highlighting the women entrepreneurs, their businesses, products, and stories, providing a wider audience with opportunities to discover and support their ventures.
